Excellent Program
I have used American Greetings Print! Premium for about 4 years now and love it. I am dissapointed, however with the reviews I'm reading on the newer versions of this product. I need to upgrade because I have upgraded to Windows XP, but I'm not sure if I will like the newer versions. I also have Halmark Card Studio and find that the interface is a lot simpler to use, but lacking a lot of the features I prefer in the Print! program. If you can manouver through a word processing program, you will find that Print!'s similar commands are easier to grasp. If not, then I suggest you go with Halmark. It is simpler to use but you don't have the versitility of Print!

This software is excellent for children as well as adults, great selection of clip art and a wonderful variety of items from cards to calendars and more. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to make their own cards, banners and much much more. Also has a lot of photo projects, very versatile. It also lets you import other clip art as well. Very user friendly. Graphics are comparable to actual American Greeting cards in the stores. Sentiment gallery has a wide selection from birthday to sympathy cards. I'm disappointed with this product.
My main complaint with this software is that you can't begin with a "blank" project. The only way to make a scrapbook page, (or any project for that matter), is to start with a predesigned project and then recustomize it to suit your needs. While there are plenty of nice fonts to choose from, I find the clip art to be very cartoonish - way too cutesy for the elegant pages I am used to creating on my own.

I think this software is much more suitable for children due to the overall look of the projects. For the dedicated scrapbooker, I would suggest looking around for software that will create a more professional finished project.

Totally Useless!
I thought since this was compatible with Windows XP, it would be very advanced with everything I could possible want. It isn't, it is no diffent than PrintMaster, same fonts, clipart, etc. Don't waste your money on this program. Wish I hadn't.

A little too much fun at the expense of utility
As a stand-alone product, this effort isn't really worth even the modest purchase price.In truth, the images are available on the larger Corel Galleries, and you'll feel better spending a little bit more money for alot more images.In and of themselves, the images here are a little toorandom and whimsical to be of use in most situtations.They wouldcomplement a larger collection of more obviously useful images, however,enhancing the value of that larger work. ... Really fine art...really
To respond to the person who was unhappy because the product was listed as being for Win 3.1 & Win 95...it is totally compatible to all later versions of Windows as well as any graphics program that may use jpeg format.The graphics in this collection are unusual but very useable for any type of project but especially for making your own greeting cards.You won't see these graphics in every collection you buy.I was well pleased to get the full collection of 8,500 images.I had previously had ClickArt Premium which contained only a selections from this package.

Very misleading description
The description of ClickArt stated that it was compatiable with several different operating systems. The item description did not specify an operating system. When I received the product, it was for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. I run Windows 98. Thus, the item has no value. The item description should have stated those operating systems with which it is compatiable.

Worth every penny! Great for graphics artists
I have gone through so many clip art sets and rarely have I been this THRILLED.Easy to use - you can install it and use their viewer or you can just open them images from you CD ROM drive and check out the images.Not in any funny format, most are in easy to handle .jpg. The are nice BIG images not those tiny unworkable ones.They are high quality.A few photos, but the rest are just what it says - fine art.

A lot of super paintings on every subject, with a good selection of those marvelous turn of the century postcards that was so great for your projects.Also have wonderful selection of designs alphabets and borders.Perfect for printing out to customize all your projects.

PSP addicts who make websets, Sigys and Calling cards...this is perfect.What you REALLY want for a change, not the come-on and later disappointment.You will will be thrilled with this set from Broderbund.

The best software!
I used this software to do my own Christmas cards and envelopes this year. It was so easy to export a picture from the web to use as the cover and size it to suit the card. I used the inside left and back cover for this year's Christmas letter. I talked about a special place we had visited on vacation and again used pictures from the web to illustrate what we had seen. It was so easy to add text by the pictures and customize the color of the font to go with the picture.

Now I am using the software for a wedding invitation. I found a great font and just the right color for it so that the words in the invitation blend well with the border on the invitation. Everyone who has seen the invitation is shocked that it did not come from a professional print shop. Being able to do the invitations and envelopes myself is saving a great deal of time and expense for the bride and groom.

This is the best software I have bought in a very long time, and the price is so reasonable for everything you get. Now I'm thinking it would make a great present for a lot of children and adults I know. I look forward to using it with my grandchildren. ... Read more

I liked it!
Broderbund makes the Gold 7 Creatacard easy to use. I own 5 other card-making programs, but I use this almost exclusively. The clip art is to my liking--not too cartoony or too unreal looking. The only drawback I find is not being able to distort text. I like making my own cards mostly, but some of the original cards are so appealing that I have used them as is. I make approximately 2-3 cards per week. I have owned this program for about 6 months and am still discovering new ways to use its features.

Not impressed
I was given this program as a gift, as I had been using the Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 3 program for quite a while and thought it would be nice to have another selection of cards to choose from. The selection of pre-printed cards in this program is extremely limited compared to Hallmark (i.e., one choice for parents anniversary, only 2-4 birthday cards each for brother, father, mother, husband, etc.) And the "humorous" cards are pretty lame. I have yet to make a card from this program and always end up going back to Hallmark to find what I need. I don't recommend AG if you're looking for a wide-range of choices in cards.

Useless!
I upgraded from an earlier version and absolutely hate this version. The background of the program is silly looking and doesn't look like a Windows program at all. It looks like some kid drew it. The card choices are few (and none at all in some cases, like for Birthday, Friend!) and the Internet option for downloading cards is a waste of time. Not user-friendly at all.

Creatacard Gold 7
I have Creatacard Plus version 2 and have found this product much inferior. It is much more difficult to use, the cards are not an improvement, downloading from the internet is laborious, and I am thinking of returning it. I upgraded only because I thought it would be more compatible with Xp and maybe it is but it is not worth it.

A good program to begin learning home publishing.

You cannot save a graphic. It says: "You do not have the permission to open this file....."

Misleading Information
The product advertises 100,000 images. The vast majority are through its internet site. Those images are poor - arrows, buttons, etc. The clip art that is available on the CD is moderately useful, but looks to be created by one person - around half are of poor quality.

Great art, if you like cartoonish art only...
All the art on this CD is very "cartoonish"...great for some things, but most people like a little variety. I spent $10 more and got a different brand's 200,000 images package. DON'T BUY IT
Picked it up as an impulse buy at Staples.

EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to use. Almost works. Date entry fields are way messed up. Can't correctly set date range to print. Can't set Event dates in a reasonable fashion.

CCv8 is a POS. As much as it pains me to say it, I must recommend that people use MS Outlook instead...

Too many bugs
I have been using Calendar Creator Deluxe for several years over many releases. Each version gets more difficult to configure. I had finally solved the many problem in ver. 7 when 8 appeared and I foolishly switched, bad move. Ver. 9 has just been released and I am going to try once more, if it is this bad I give up!

Lots of glitches:
Compatibility problems with XP - despite claimed compatiblity. Doesn't work with my newest print drivers - had to load old drivers. Formatting text is more difficult than with older versions - tab key doesn't function properly.

I'm going to buy version 7.0 & eat the [money] loss & hope I can get 7.0 to run on XP (emulating an earlier version of Windows).

Old versions were much better
We've been using Caldendar Creator for many years and because of a computer upgrade had to go to the newest version. It leaves a great deal of white space because you are forced to have each event either boxed or bannered. I called the company to see if I was missing something that I could change to decrease the white space so the print will get larger and the person on tech support was rude. I hope they lose that feature in the next version. In the meantime, I am trying to find an old computer to install the old version on. ... Read more

A Truly Practical Photo Companion
I've been using various bitmap editors since the days of MacPaint, and I've spent the time to learn something about how they work. I played with these programs mostly out of nerdy curiousity since I'm not much of an artist. When I got into digital photography, though, I found the need for some practical bitmap editing--photo touchup. I could use PhotoShop at work, and I bought Paint Shop Pro. I tried many other programs. But I didn't use one frequently enough to remember how to do anything.

I tried Picture It back in 2000, but hated it because of its huge installation footprint and weak feature set. This fall I tried the newest version, Digital Image Pro. What a difference! This product is great. I've already used it a few dozen times for all types of work. It has enough depth to do everything I've needed--and I don't need documentation! It is so activity-oriented that I can figure it out as I go along. (Nevertheless, it comes with a very good manual that is a complete guide to digital photography. It covers a lot of material I already know, but I found it worth reading anyway.)

This is a great program. Even if you didn't like previous versions, you might like this one.

A Decent Product, But Not As Good As Adobe Photoshop
For the amateur photographer, Picture It! Digital Image Pro 7 will be a very useful tool. You can adjust resolution, crop and rotate, and add effects to photos quickly and easily. However, for those looking for a more powerful tool for professional-level projects you would be better off picking up a copy of Adobe Photoshop.

For the money, this isn't a bad deal. Just don't expect miracles. Recommended for the casual/amateur user.

Picture It! Digital Image Pro 7
Not as good as I had expected this product to be. I am no longer using it. Did not meet my expectations in the digital camera, saving photos/albums, and printing arena for my Dell computer and HP photosmart printer.

Easy to use
I stepped up from PictureIt! 2001 wand was very pleased with the improved integration of the processes. Making cards, photo albums, business cards is muchmore intuitive. Very good compatibility with my camera, printer, and scanner. Probably not enough tools for pros, but for casual users who want to sit down and get things done it's wonderful!!

not for the dogs
this software is a waste of money if you want to edit the white spots from flash pictures of your pet(s). will not do it with red eye correction or paintbrush. i recommend paint shop pro 7 which will take care of the problem and it appears to have all the capability of picture it. plus it is shareware so you can get a 30 day evaluation period and not get stuck with a product that doesn't fill the bill -- like picture it. ...
