Edmark's Mighty Math Zoo Zillions lets kids practice countingand number grouping in a colorful animated zoo, while Eurotalk'sSpanish Vocabulary Builder offers simple illustrated games thatreinforce basic Español. Simon & Schuster's CuriousGeorge Paint & Print Studio is a freeform art program that letskids decorate monkey-related scenes with thousands of stamps anddrawing tools. Finally, School Zone's Beginning Reading 1-2offers two interactive books, plus an audio dictionary and aCreate-a-Story program.

All four use intuitive visual interfaces that kids shouldn't have anytrouble tackling, and all provide at least some open-endedinteractivity. Buyer Beware - Very Poor Quality Software
The software included in this set is of very poor quality. They will change your screen colors since they need to be run in 256 color mode. The games themselves are flawed with bugs. The answers to some of the questions were incorrect. I have an advanced degree in medicine, but even that did not help to address these shortcomings. I have also purchased the middle and High school math and Middle school math excelerator software and all of them are from the same company - TOPICS ENTERTAINMENT. I would recommend not to purchase ANY of the Excelerator titles, for not only are they a waste of your time and money, but they include two programs that are the same in both the Middle School and Middle School Math, which are the Pre-Algebra and Algebra programs. You would be better off buying another title from a different company....Buyer Beware!!!

speed up my 1st to a 2nd grader
This software was pretty good the zoo zollions I think was the best my daugther enjoyed the changellen, the print shop curious george was good also, the spanish was very good and to my surprise it was easy to change to a different language. But when it came to the reading part of it. it was borning and not that much changellen only in the creating your own story the dictonary was good. Difficult and not fun
I purchased this for my 7 year old son who is making slow progress in reading. It starts on such a very simple level, identifying animal sounds, that he was immediately bored and had no interest in using it. The worst part about this program is that you cannot access any other level until you have completed the first level. There are no instructions. You just have to click around and nothing can be accessed but the animal sounds game. After my 4 year old son played the animal sounds game for a long time, another level was finally available. This product was a waste of money. Both kids have said it is not fun.

Pretty Good
I have the I love Spelling for about 3 grade and up. That is super. This does not keep my students attention. It is hard for me to navigate correctly. As you can imagine tough for my students too. You can't go wrong with this purchase!
I have purchased almost all of the "Blaster" titles (Reading Blaster, Math Blaster, etc) and they are all excellent! You can't go wrong with these! These are truly "Edutainment". Games that just happen to teach at the same time. My daughter loves them and with their help is reading at a fourth grade level - and she's in 1st grade. All the games in the Blaster series keep the same recognizable characters. All have great songs that the kids love.

A fun Math Learing tool
This teaches children good math skills in a fun sort of way and does not make it feel like a homework. My daughter likes zoo animals very much, so she really likes to play with this software.She loves the feeding time and bath time for the animals, loves chasing the animals arround.

What I like as a parent is the parent traker option where I can track the childs progress. This is a must have Software. Really fun and good graphics and setup.Must say the Blaster series have done a good job again. ... Read more
