3-0 out of 5 stars Barbie Beauty Styler
I kind of like this game because you can decorate clothes, but it isn't really very fun. I don't understand why it's called beauty styler, because the only hairdoes you can give them are round curls, bangs, big curls, hair that looks like rope, and some more. The hair doesn't even look real. And you can't save very many pictures. And if you want to use the close up, and you want to color a shirt with the hair, you can't color the bottom that's not in the square.
And if you keep undoing things, whenever you undo something all the old things will come back, then disappear, and if you got rid of a bunch of things, it will tke a long time for them all o come back then disappear.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Game For Girls Ages 5 to 8
My five year old daughter bought this game with some of her birthday money about 2 months ago. It's a great game, interesting, fun, and easy enough for the younger kids to navigate and play without parental help. It's a combination of simple games and decorating fun, and in each game you can choose different clothes for Kelly and friends, it's perfect for the younger girls. It is also fun and interesting enough for her two older sisters to play (they are 7 and 10), although the 10 year old does get bored with it faster than the younger ones do.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun!
My nine year old daughter recommends that you should get Kelly Club because it is really fun! It has really good activities to play. You can catch stars and decorate a unicorn and a snowman. You get to decorate a seashell and make your own scrapbook. There is a tea party game and a jungle safari. You get to dress up all the characters in all the activities. There is so much to play with in this game! It is very fun.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 3 year old's favorite
This is a great game for a preschool age girl. It has many different areas to explore with great graphics. Very user friendly to little hands. I only had to help my daughter the first time and now I'm not allowed to play anymore. You can print out the different scenes from the scrapbook after decorating. Keeps her interest and she can change it every time.

5-0 out of 5 stars My baby (she's 4) loves Kelly
We have not used it as of yet, Kelly will be one of my daughter's Christmas presents. She loves Kelly though, has a lot of Kelly items and I am sure this will be a special treat under the tree for her as she is not even aware that Kelly has a software product. She's going to go for this out of all the other toys and software that "Santa" brings her. I know that for a fact. O.k. how do I know it. If you guys promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you. I should change the "we have not used it as of yet" to my daughter has not used it as of yet. You know I just had to make sure it worked, so I put it in. It's really a lot of fun. I love it and I'm not 4, so I know she'll adore it. I have to fess up to it, I played it. Parents need to check out the items when they come to make sure they are working properly. Just an excuse. I have no excuse. I love Kelly as much as my daughter. Now I must wait until Christmas to borrow my daughter's Kelly software, and I'm sure she will not let me get my hands on it. It's really a lot of fun, if I think so, she'll love it. She loves Kelly, so how could you not love a product like this? ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Let your child escape into a fairy-tale world with the Barbie as Princess Bride CD-ROM, and help Princess Bride Barbie prepare for her magical wedding day. Prince Ken has had to undertake a long journey, and while he is away Princess Barbie dreams of her wedding day and waits for the prince's return. Barbie is helped by Butterfly Fairy in her preparations for the wedding. Invite the guests, make and decorate the cake, sing love songs, retrieve items from the well, conduct the orchestra, help Prince Ken sail home, design the wedding dress and photographs, and enjoy many more exciting fairy-tale activities.

The game can be played in two modes: Story mode plays the adventure from start to finish, and Magic Mirror mode allows players to complete the activities in any order. The CD-ROM is accompanied by an excellent booklet, which should be read before beginning. It is very easy to follow and uses simple language and visual clues. Particularly useful are the helpful tips for troubleshooting if problems arise. The music of Barbie as Princess Bride can be played on any audio CD player, by starting with track two. The manufacturer's recommended age range is 4 and older, but help will certainly be required at the lower end of the range. --Susan Naylor, Amazon.co.uk ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars For the Girl in All of us!
I have 2 young girls (5 & 3), they both love this game! They get to decorate a wedding cake, design a wedding gown for Barbie and for the flower girl, bake a cake, etc. There is a lot of learning in this while they enjoy themselves! They learn to follow directions and even a bit of fine motor skills to get the items out of the well. Memory skills are enhanced with collecting the invitations and delivering them. Any young girl will enjoy this game! Good buy!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good
My daughter liked this C.D. Rom and she is 4. She needed some help, I wish they would put setting for different levels on the some of the activites. The mazes, cake baking, and music were to difficult and she needed some help, but overall she had fun. I don't think an older child would have problems. The music is pretty and the whole adventure is enchanting. My daughter loves dressing her for the wedding.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Software

5-0 out of 5 stars Barbie as Princess Bride
My 4 1/2 year old twins (a girl and a boy) just LOVE this game! They especially enjoy decorating the wedding cake! I highly recommend this game for young children.

3-0 out of 5 stars Fancy girls will love this
My daughter received this for her fourth birthday. She is a girly girl and LOVED it immediately. Almost a year later, she still plays it. It has a lot of different kinds of activities. Some are educational (matching, following instructions) and some are just fun (choosing the style of the dresses, decorating a wedding cake). My only wish is that this game had levels of difficulty. My daughter played with this so frequently when she first got it that she mastered it quickly. And while she still has fun with it, the challenge of it is long gone. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun to Play
This game was fun and exiting to play. You find neat clues, follow footprints and look for handprints, and even chase suspects on cool rides. The clues and the theif/kidnapper change each time, and it is always fun to see where the clues lead you too. The only problem with it is that Barbie walks way too slow! If only she would ever run, maybe the game would be more exiting and less frustrating when you try to get her to move.

4-0 out of 5 stars MsDollie
My four nieces (ages 8 to 12) really enjoy this game. There are times when the clues are well hidden and take some careful examination to find, but that is part of the fun. There are several games to play within the mystery setting. Our only real complaint is that Barbie moves slowly through the carnival setting. We always want her to run - especially when following a hot clue!

4-0 out of 5 stars Detective Barbie at the Carnival
I found this game a bit too hard or a glitch in there.

After looking for Ken and the clues seemed futile, my daughter and I really enjoyed the rides.

We quit worrying about find Ken and figured he left the park, so we went on the rides.

It is fun, but a few minutes of rides and we were ready to leave the park.

My 6 (almost 7) yr old got this game for Christmas, and she loves it. However, I can see that some of the games are getting old already. I don't see this as a game that she will want to play over and over for a long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars really weinerdog-rific
I've had this game for about 7 years and i used to play with it ALL THE TIME. It's great designing the clothes, but barbie likes to boss you around on what things you can put together, like you can't wear a scarf& wedding dress, and the clothes have gone out of style. You were only allowed to use a few colors at a time. But making the tabloid cover is really fun and i used to make them for EVERYONE. the 3d is really cheezy, and the fashion show thakes FOREVER to load(but the countdown with shoes is really cute).I think i once saw a newer version somewhere, but it might have been another barbie game. weinerdogs rule!

4-0 out of 5 stars It's Fun!
I think it's fun because you can make magazine covers and pages for a little magazine for your friends. You can design clothes for your Barbie, you get to color them, and put them together. It's fun because you can put shoes on it.

2-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS GAME ***
This is such a boring game ! It doesn't have too many clothes to choose from and not too many colors and designs ! If you want to buy a Barbie CD-ROM , buy Barbie Pet Rescue !

4-0 out of 5 stars Barbie's fun, but this game could be better
I got this game about 4 years ago, when I had one of the world's slowest computers. It worked just fine, but the fashion show took forever to load, so I never got to see that. Anyway, it was a lot of fun designing outfits for Barbie; the problem was, you were really limited. Like, you couldn't have a Barbie wear certain shirts (like bikini tops) and certain pants at the same time. Or you if you had a certain scarf, it would limit the other accessories you could have. But that was easy to overlook. My other complaints were that the patterns were kind of silly looking (flowers were okay, bows and hearts were kind of weird), and you didn't get very many colors to work with. Also, the only Barbie available was a blond. But I really enjoyed playing it and printing out magazine covers, until one fateful day when the CD malfunctioned and hasn't worked since (and I even have a brand new computer, so ... oh well. Rest in peace.) Oh yes, and you can print the outfits on special paper and make actual clothes for your Barbie. But they look really unrealistic. It would be like a real person dressing in a gunny sack and calling it fashionable. But hey -- if you have a Barbie fanatic in your life, consider this CD-rom for hours of fashion fun. :)

4-0 out of 5 stars Sorta Cool...
This is great when you first get it! Design a variety of barbie outfits for any occasion and watch her model it. Then print out a magazine cover or the outfit for you to make. Sounds cool right? But there are some hidden downsides...Number one, the outfits don't stay together too well! Number two, the outfits get repetitive and boring and there aren't enough pattern or color choices. Also, some new barbies would be nice! I'd try Cool Looks before this one! Oh yeah and for some reason there is a saving problem when you save your designs...Still if you wanna try a new angle on Barbie games try this one or Cool Looks to create cool Barbie clothes, until you get sick of the game! ... I bought this game for my 9 year daughter and she loves it! The snowboarding features excellent runs and lots of point winning chances! You use your points to buy new boards and clothing so you can do different tricks and look fashionable doing it.

We didn't think very much of the inline skating there wasn't really much to do. Although the shop was still fun.

This is a great game for all ages!

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work With Windows XP
I tried the suggestion from Weihong Yang from Sunnyvale, CA United States and it didn't work. So if anyone else can find a way to get this to work with XP please let us know. Sad that they sell products that don't work with current operating systems. Sad for our children who get them for gifts. I think the software company owes us a fix.

2-0 out of 5 stars Detective Barbie 2: The Vacation Mystery
My 8 old daughter hates this game, she would rather play the younger game Princess Bride or Pet Rescue. The graphics are great and the music fine. The premise for the game is great, however she nor I could not figure out the game, the help screen was useless. She managed to get a few clues, but then couldn't get any farther with the game. She got frustrated, as well did I. Maybe we got a 'bad' disk, but no-one will help us. I'll wait a few years and buy her the Nancy Drew series.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Seires! Barbie Detective! Now the Vacation Mystery!
I have the Barbie Detective 1: The Carnival Mystery and I LOVE it! I can't wait to get the new one: Barbie Detective 2: The Vacation Mystery. I adore playing it! It has different clues and a different criminal everytime! It's such a fun and enjoyable game. You move Barbie, gather clues, and play fun carnival games. You move around the carnival trying to find Ken, who kidnapped Ken, and the carnival money. It's a great game and I can't wait until I get my hands on the second one!

1-0 out of 5 stars A disappointed little girl....
Why in the world would they still be selling software that only runs on a 16-bit architecture? At least, they should make an upgrade available. Who even looks at that stuff anymore? You just expect the software to run, but if you have a computer purchased in this CENTURY, this won't run. What a disappointed little girl I have.

1-0 out of 5 stars Buy Nancy Drew Instead
I am a fan of the Nancy Drew series and thought i would pick this up for under $10.Well i wish i would have just saved my money.Poor graphics,Barbie is hard to control. Also they dont give you too much of a background on the story. So your lost, going blindly through the whole game.So save your money and buy the Nancy Drew series.Better graphics, conrols, and a better story.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not good!
When I bought this for my daughter she was 4 years old. She needed help every time getting through the maze. Which wasted my time, she was supposed to be having fun, not frustrated. There is just nothing to do. Half the time you are just clicking people to wake up. Borring!!!!!! Save your money, my daughter was on to something else in no time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Simple, but good
I find this game very simplistic, compared to others my daughter has. However, my daughter (4) really enjoys playing with it, and can do it on her own. I had no problems installing it in my iMac, and it runs fine. The best feature is that it can either be played in order or you can go to your favorite parts. I thnk it's a good buy if you have a 4/5 year old.

1-0 out of 5 stars TOO Scary!
My four year old got this for her 4th birthday and was so scared that she refuses to play it. The witch is very realistic and true to Disney form something geared towards kids is not made with their sensibilities in mind.

4-0 out of 5 stars My 5 year old loves it
This game has stood the test of time - 6 months later my 5 year old still will play it though she has dozens of newer games. She can go thru it in order, or pick and choose sections directly. Very nice music that she will sometimes just sit and sing along with. Smooth animation thoughout and vivid sound effects. Her favorite section is the crown decoration, which is a mini art studio - plus she prints her custom crowns, adds a taped on paper band, and wear them all the time!

I only give it 4 of 5 cause it's not especially challenging or educational.

I had no installation problems or any other problems with the game...and unlike many of the games she likes, this one has never crashed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for a 4 or 5 year old
This software installed and ran seamlessly on our Pentium 3 computer w/128mb ram. We've had no technical problems to speak of.

My daughters (4 & 5) have enjoyed it immensely. It has many customizable features that, as they play the game more often, they discover, adding a new dimension to their play. Creating and customizing their own crowns is one of their favorite features. Choose the crown style, and a huge array of accessories, from gems to "stickers" to paint, etc. You can even print the crown, wearable by its creator!

This software is great for the pre-reader. It doesn't have "death" in the story at all. The evil fairy is converted to good at the end. It may seem sappy to a more hip grade-schooler, but your pre-schooler and kindergartner will love it. ... Read more

I really like this game. It is a fun game with really fun games underwater and above. Amazon.com Review

Not too many software packages will have you jumping and spinning, but that's what Barbie Gotta Groove is all about. Work with Barbie and her gal-pals Tori, Nichelle, Ana, and Chelsie (plus set designer Lara) to make cool clothes, rockin' stages, and swinging dance routines, then put them all together for the big show. Get creative on the dance floor with hip-hop, salsa, and other styles--once you've got the virtual girls going, you can try the moves out yourself!

The interface is supereasy--for the most part, pointing and clicking is all that you need to do.The CD works in stereos, too, so even if you're not around a computer you can practice your jams.Use the Barbie Digital Camera (not included) to put yourself in the action--make CD covers or your own personality page! You can save your favorite outfits and dance pieces and watch them again and again, plus you can challenge yourself by watching a dance and then playing back the moves in just the right order. If you want, you can even compete with your friends to see who's got the right moves.

Just imagine--all the lights, colors, and glamour of show business without the stress and heartbreak.Barbie and all her Generation Girl friends need a little direction--slide into your choreographer's chair and get busy!--Rob Lightner ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Have a Little Fun
You will be able to play this game for 20 - 30 minutes at a time as it will get boring-kind of.But it is pretty cool. You can create Barbie's clothes,dance-moves and concert.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool fun for girls, for a little while
I think little girls will have fun with this game!Creating Barbie(and friends) outfits, dance moves, concert settings and, last of all, concert.I don't think anyone will want to play it for very long, however. The game still works on a processor that is slightly slower than required.

2-0 out of 5 stars Dancing For The Gold
I think that the Generation Girls Cd-rom is very boring to me. I played it and thought that it wasn't that fun. You couldn't create your own dances, people or music. I really like doing more karoke then this Barbie Gotta Groove Game.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool
This game is pretty cool. Altough, i agree with some people, it did freeze the computer about 2 times. You get to pick the Gen Girls, pick their clothes, dance moves and back-rounds. It's fun, though. I wanted to play more than i could. This game should be worked on, though. It needs some work; other-words, it's a great game and you should play it or at least try it out.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only OK
This game gets boring afterawhile. There is no chalenge, you don't even try to win anything. It froze my computer many times. You pick the two people you want, pick the moves, the costume, and then preform. They make the game look better than it is. It may be fun for little girls. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Does not appear to work with XP
Tried 98 compatability settings, but still won't run under XP.
Upgraded the kid's computer, but this game won't run on the new one. Dual Boot OS's for a 9 year old is a little much.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun For Everyone!
We have had this game now for about three years. We purchased it for our oldest daughter, who is now eight years old. This has always been one of her favorites. Now we have a two-year-old girl, and she loves to play with it too. She does need a little help, but not much. I have to admit, even at 30, I love playing with it too. It has lots of options for makeup, hair styles, and jewelry. The only problem we have had is that it gets stuck once in a while; however, we do have a dinosaur for a computer, so that may be the cause. It has definitely been worth the money!

Amazon.com Review

Was Mattel's Barbie Magic Genie Bottle & CD-ROM more inspired by IDream of Jeannie or Christina Aguilera? It doesn't really matter--despite thealmost-identical blonde heroine and fairly kitschy premise, Barbie doesn't quitelive up to those two pop classics.

The game itself is reminiscent of other adventure titles, like the Might and Magic series, witha first-person perspective (which can be wonderful or dizzying, depending onyour constitution) and a floating Barbie to guide you on your journey. Bycapping the accompanying genie bottle, you can choose to reduce Barbie to avoice-over, which helps, since her image took up a quarter of our screen.

Using the bottle and various magic items they find, kids must look around fourmagical lands for puzzle pieces, all the while speaking to various townspeople. We found the process of problem solving required serious patience, since theinterface of the game is often confusing and counterintuitive. Kids who enjoymethodically searching through every corner of a game will love this task, butothers may find it tedious.

We were pleased with the detailed, Arabian-inspired art in the game's design. But this is a prime example of how the concept behind the CD-ROM wasn't followedthrough on, as there is very little to engage a young history buff, and thereare no elements of Arabian culture in the dialogue that we could find. (Theinnkeeper could be in Abu Dhabi or Secaucus, New Jersey, for all we could tell.)It should also be noted that this game is basically entertainment--noteducational--software.

The best part of the game is the bottle itself. It requires a joystick port andthree AAA batteries, as well as a small flathead screwdriver to install thebatteries. Parents will want to be present at installation, since we had toalter our control settlings to calibrate the new addition. Once the bottle wasinstalled, it lit up with every touch, and added a fantastic element to ourjourney. (Ages 6 and older) --Jennifer Buckendorff ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars System Requirements
Before buying, please note that this game requires a joy stick connection or game port, which some or most new systems donot have. Newer computers only have a USB port which this game is not compatiable with.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very cool, magical game for girls with outstanding graphics!
I am very pleased with this game that I purchased for my two girls, both of which are into computer games. My 5 and a half year old finds it a challenge but not hopeless. My 12 and a half year old helps out and is interested in the puzzles and arcade type games. The bottle flashes in very cool complex patterns behind the plastic jewels when it is rubbed or the top is taken off (which is thoughtfully attached by a strong string.) The bottle is attached by a very long, very pink cord, which makes it easy to use without feeling like you have to be on top of the computer. The game has nice background music, and the animated characters give interesting, complex clues about the other characters in the game, building an interesting story behind it all.

One note, the support site is really..., not what is printed in the book or shown on the screen. Also you will want to setup the bottle as a 2-axis, 2-button joystick for it to work right, the service site has detailed instructions. We had trouble with the bottle initially because "rubbing the bottle" (a major function of the game) didn't work. It turned out that I didn't have it set to the right kind of joystick (it was still set-up for my old joystick.) Follow the instructions on the support website and you will be fine!

4-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Game, but needs some tweaking
Both my daughter and I love this game. She is 5 years old. I have to help her with it a bit though at times. One puzzle in particular was a little challenging. Most of the game is pretty much hide and seek. Items are hidden and you seek. Not that it is bad, my daughter enjoys it as the lands in which you explore are quite beautiful and magical. The best part of this game is of course the genie bottle. Just wave your hand in front of the pink gem and watch sparkles, hearts and stars float around or see items rise up in the air. If you take the top of the bottle off, Barbie genie appears in a cloudy pink swirl and she'll travel with you. You also have the option to fly on your own magic carpet while looking for items which is really neat! My daughter especially enjoys this. Barbie's voice is very clear and not annoying and she is very, very helpful to help play the game ... which is good because the interface is not that intuitive at first! I did want to mention that at first I thought our bottle was a dud and didn't work. It would light up no problem, but not interact with the game. There was no trouble shooting guide for this area in the manual. So check out the Readme.txt file in the game! It solved my problem and the bottle now works like it is supposed to. The bottle itself is very pretty. My daughter thinks it is magic. The dark pink gems on the bottle will light up and dance and twinkle. The bottle unfortunately is attached to a very long cord, which can't be removed. Which is a shame, because the bottle works without the computer.

The only flaws I see is navigation: instead of point and click where you want to go, you can only scroll up or down or left to right or forward or backward by moving your cursor. It would be much easier with a point and click. The other annoyance is there could be so much more to explore in each land. For example, the market place ... there are so many potentially cool places you could check out (as you would in most regular adventure games), but in Barbie Magic Genie, you can only really go into maybe 2 places.

I love playing this game with my daughter. The graphics are nice, the music is perfect for the arabian theme and game play is easy. Makes for enjoyable and unique Barbie game!

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't bother!
Don't bother with this one. It is too complicated for my 3 1/2 year old and too easy for my 8 year old. The whole game took my 8 year old about 2 hours to finish. There are no extra puzzles to make the software useable after the "adventure" is completed. It's now the day after Christmas and the "bottle" has been removed from the computer so they can play "genie" by themselves.

4-0 out of 5 stars OK
My two daughters would give this a 5 star rating, I myself would give it about a 3, so we decided to give it a four.

As far as price, I paid $40 and after playing it was disappointed because I paid so much for it. If I could go back I would not pay more than $25 for it.

It is fun and can be a challenging game to play because they gems you must find are not always in the same place if you restart the game, so it will always be different when your kids want to play again. You can always save your game which comes in handy since there are about 5 levels you must travel through and it does get lenghtly.

The only problem that we have had so far is that when you touch the magic bottle heavy items on the screen are to pick up, but for some reason they won't so we end up pressing F5 for it to work.

As far as kids taking the bottle to play, I would not recommend that, since the parrell port stays attached to the bottle and cannot be removed.

Sound and anmimation are good. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars I wanted to like it...
This game is horrible. It rarely works, the scences stop, it locks up, the charecters go all weird - plus you certainly cannont make anything close to a sensible movie with this. You can't make the settings move, do cloeups, make charecters talk, or add any drama or action to your film. You can't make the charecters move in any way other than walking. If you want to make a reasonably good filmmaker that has no problems and you can make a anywhere near realistic film, this is NOT the game your looking for.

2-0 out of 5 stars Soggy Stories Hit The Stands---Story Maker Barbie
I thought this game was ok. Just crossed my boarder line between bad and a little good. This game allows you to do all of the stories you want to create, but usuing barbie's themes, characters and props and... settings. Her features are quite complicated. I would give this game a 2 because some parts were really hard to under stand.

4-0 out of 5 stars Very entertaining, but also very basic.
I liked the idea of this game, I mean, it is really, really fun, but you dont have very many characters, backgrounds, and objects to choose from, so you end up making the same thing over and over again. And plus, sometimes the game freezes or screws up and you lose your whole story. I always have a hard time editing because it always freezes up. So, I give it 3-4 stars. Fun, but too basic.

2-0 out of 5 stars barbie story maker
i chose 2 stars because it will not tell me any where how to edit and then i can not make the movie i am very mad

3-0 out of 5 stars Cool....................
I liked the game when my parents got it for me, but it's not the BEST game in the entire world......It's fun, but sometimes it dosen't work very well.....I recommend it though, because it IS fun, but sometimes you can get very frustrated because you can't get something to work!!! 4-0 out of 5 stars Barbie as Rapunzel??
Well, I was skeptical at first, but my daughter is in LOVE with anything that is Barbie so I bought the DVD and the vid game... She watches the movie about 4 times a week, but the game is played pretty much as long as the computer is on!

...

So... Long story short, the game is rather 'old school' in game play and graphics, but very simple colourful for children... It's a fantastic game with puzzles and dialog that any Barbie fan will love.

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun, but Learning at all Time Low
I have to say that this is an excellent product if you just want your kids to kick back and some fun after a mountain of homework, but if you're trying to inspire your children and teach them something with software, this is a major mistake. The basic concept is based on the Grimm's fairy tale Rapunzel and has some out of line parts thrown in. (Like Rapunzel traveling through the city in search of her prince, for example.) Of course, there are all sorts of games along the way, most of which are eye/hand or memory skill games. While some games encourage creativity, others, such as the dress maker's shop and the bakery prohibit it. You can only make dresses one color and only make cakes according to a pattern. That was a mistake on Mattel's part, if you ask me.

Rapunzel also turns into a sort of digital paper doll when led to the attic. There she tries on beautiful gowns, jewelry and other accessories all at the child's descretion. That is, by far, the best of the games.

I think this is a great product and will be very much enjoyed as long as the child is 8 or younger since they'll have the most fun with it. It's clean, wholesome entertainment for a few hours of the day without the gory violence of mind-numbing hours in front of a palystation. It might not be educational, but there are much worse things out there. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun but not so practical
Its lots of fun to design the clothes. You can spend hours and hours having fun creating new outfits then seeing them come to life using the fashion show option. However actually printing your dress and trying to fashion it onto Barbie is very difficult, frustrating, expensive, and hardly ever looks as great on real Barbie than it did on digital Barbie, which of course can be expected. Still, I would recommend the product for all the fun it provides, as long as you use it as a game rather than a practical clothing making tool.

1-0 out of 5 stars Wastage of money
I found this software really really boring. It's only wastage of money. Can't say wastage of time because you may get bored in onlyyyyyy five minutes. I only want to say never buy this one.Even for a three year old girl.

2-0 out of 5 stars Really awful. Buggy software
My girls ages 5 and 7 begged me for this software. I finally gave in even though the whole concept of creating fake finger nails did not appeal to me. They enjoyed the music selections that play while you create the nails which is the main reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. The program comes with some sticker sheets which only contain one set of nails each and wastes tons and tons of printable space. I found it completely impossible to line up the paper so that the little squares would print in the correct spots! Extremely irritating! Once I got them somewhat lined up, the girls were very disappointed in the final product. It sparkles on the screen, not on the paper after all! My five year old will on occasion go in and make up some nails and listen to music, but she will be bored in about 10 minutes and on to another game. ... Read more
