There are carefully designed lessons, and extensive multimedia resources to keep the student engaged. 1-0 out of 5 stars I don't like it!
I bought Instant Immersion English a few days ago probably for the same reason you're at this page now.

I wanted to start learning english pronunciation, because it's my second languange, but this course is too basic and elementary. I really expected something better. I felt like first grade with those lessons!

2-0 out of 5 stars looks good ,but didnt help
i bought this for my son's nanny.how can someone learn english when all the instuctions are in english?the dictionary is helpful, but this program is obviously for people with some knowledge of the english language.it does not make it clear that this is not for someone who knows no english.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not for Intermediate or Advanced
This software is definetely only for beginners, it gets boring when the student is in an intermediate or advanced level. The lessons are repetitive, and there aren't many to choose from. I would recommend the program for a beginning ESL student, but like I said in the beginning, there are not many exercises, they are all presented in the same order, and there is not a very wide variety. No workbook comes with the program and there are no instructions either. It makes it difficult to follow for someone that is completely new to computers.

5-0 out of 5 stars A good way to learn to English
This software is great for learning how to pronounce English words. English is my second language. For 16 years, I have been searching for "something" that can explain to me how to speak better English. This software has improved my English pronunciation in just less than one month. People don't ask me to repeat myself as much. I am really grateful to find and learn it. It has unlocked the key for better English speaking. Thank you. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

After a brutal storm wrecks his ship, a bedraggled Robinson Crusoesuccessfully manages to drag himself ashore--he's the sole survivor and it'syour task to help him escape in this animated story CD-ROM.

From the start, Robinson Crusoe is a gripping game, brilliantly narratedby Martin Jarvis. It opens with stirring dramatic music as Crusoe talks of hisdesire to travel the oceans of the world despite the strong opposition of hisfather. Unfortunately, lightning strikes his ship, and from the moment you seeCrusoe arrive alone on the beach, you have to take on his role. Stranded aloneon the Island of Despair, you must keep your spirits up and carry out varioustasks to prevent yourself from starving or becoming the victim of a savage wildanimal.

Your first task is to get on board the shipwreck. Using your mouse button, youhave to collect all the pieces you need to build a raft, which will thenhopefully take you and the remaining food and water ashore. The scenes are veryatmospheric and well illustrated, and you even need to wait for a low tidebefore you head for the wreck.

This game comes with clear instructions on how to navigate through theadventure. By clicking on a book icon, you can find tools or objects to makelife on the island easier. When you hold down the mouse button, you can enjoypanoramic views of the island as if you were actually standing there. And, likeCrusoe, you have to constantly beware of the cannibals. --Justin Hunt ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Is this supposed to be fun?
If you are looking for a fun game to play with your kids, keep looking. My 8 year old and I could not navigate through the game even after reading the instructions several times. The play is not in 3D animation.

We're not quitters, so we read the same "book" in the story and wandered around the ship trying to pick up objects, but there is no place to keep an inventory and no way to "grab" the objects.

This game is not like Harry Potter or even Nancy Drew, where you can go different places or follow a path. Its based on a 2D drawing that doesn't "do" anything! It is frustrating, useless and not entertaining. Save your money, even if it's only $!

5-0 out of 5 stars A fun game
This game is fun because its not like normal games. You have to survive without your parents. The game is a lot of fun.You have to find food, shelter and water in order to play farther in the game. The graphics in this game are wonderful. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars The Narration NEVER stops
This is one of the most annoying Princess games ever. It loads fine on my computer but when your in the game the narration is slow, obnoxious and never stops. 2 mins to explain each game! You can't by pass it! My child got this for Christmas was excited and now..hates it. She's 7 and thinks this is the stupidest game.

1-0 out of 5 stars Not truely XP compatible.
I also should have read the reviews on this however, my Daughter loves this game. I do not have the problems with sound or graphics as they are very clear on our system. However, my 4 year old now has to have Administrator rights on the system in order to play this game. I bought XP so I could allow the kids functionality on the computer without me hovering over them. I studied how to set the system up for limited users and Administrators (which can do everything), but now all that work and the money for the product are gone. I have made my complaint with Disney as they are the ones that informed me that they have no intention on changing this product.

1-0 out of 5 stars I should have read the reviews here first!
I purchased the game for my 4 year old daughter and was extremely disappointed in the quality. I should have read the reviews first as they sum up the CD-ROM perfectly. Slow to load, confusing, a mumbling narrator and terrible graphics. This is the first and last Disney CD-ROM that I will purchase. The Vivendi Universal games that distribute all of the Barbie titles could definitely teach Disney a thing or two about designing age appropriate, amazing software for kids. Don't waste your money on this product.

1-0 out of 5 stars mom of a 5 year old
This game is terrible. I have just purchased my computer and the game is so slow. A grown person can barely place the furniture much less my 5 year old. The introduction to the game and instructions are way to long for a childs attention span.

1-0 out of 5 stars Big Disappointment!
We bought this cd for our 7-year-old daughter. The cd seems to slow down the speed of the drive so that it can't be installed at all. Nothing we try works, and our computer is only about a year old and surpasses all of the system requirements. We have never had this much trouble from a cd before. Overall, it has been a waste of money and time, not to mention a disappointment to a small girl who thought it looked fun. We expected more from a big money company like Disney to put out better quality products. This is our first Disney Interactive CD, and most definitely our last. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Another Broken Disney Title
Games from Disney Interactive consistently don't work for me. They run slowly, crash, and freeze.

3-0 out of 5 stars Looks good...but...
I convinced my daughter (age 7) to buy this game with her money in hopes that it would favorably compete with her current TV viewing schedule. The graphics and 3D aspects look great and the game seems interesting to play (for me). My daughter who loves educational software AND simple arcade type games finds this program boring. This is likely because of the ships transit time between events. For gamming fun, she prefers to bring up my copy of Half Life in multiplayer mode (without any other players) and explore/navigate around the environments.

1-0 out of 5 stars My child was frightened by Sir Sour Note...
My 5-year old was frightened by Sir Sour Note, and to this day (over a year later) she refuses to play this software. Now my four year old won't either because of the first child's fright. It is a shame that Jumpstart couldn't find a way to encourage a child's exploration of the wonders of music without this 'Hollywood' gimic of good and evil. Shouldn't an introduction to music be a joy, not a traumatic experience?

3-0 out of 5 stars Fair
My 5 year old is using this program, but he won't put it in and go on his own. I have to keep after him to do the rhythms, would rather just go on and explore. Doesn't hold his interest at this stage, more like school work. I see a lot of merit in it, however, and am using it as part of his homeschooling curriculum.

5-0 out of 5 stars piano instructor
JumpStart Music is a great program. I am a piano teacher and I use this program as supplementary learning. I have students of all ages and they all really enjoy JumpStart Music. It teaches them to follow rhythmic and melodic patterns at a level they can understand and the animation is great. I recommend this product to all children who have a liking for music.

1-0 out of 5 stars Hurtful not helpful
Between the character Sir Sour Note actually frightening my child and the goat which leads the rhythm section insulting my child's attempts ("That's BAAAAADDDDDD"), I was very disappointed that Jump Start would release such a product. What should have been an enjoyable introduction to music was actually a very negative experience. By the way, the goat also reprimanded my attempts to repeat his rhythms and I've been playing the piano for 30 years! Imagine a 5 year old thinking they can't get it right and giving up. VERY DISAPPOINTING piece of software. ... Read more

This game is so bad and horable. It is to short and to easey. A monkey can make better game than this loser game I rate this game .

5-0 out of 5 stars Golden Hydrant, Golden Game
I got this game a while ago and it didn't take me very long to beat. Still, you get to pick between six fun Catdog games. In one , you need to get pieces of tickets while dodging the Greaser Dogs. In the others, you're in the Arctic, Taco Depot, space, a tomb filled with mummies, and trying to climb up a hill. All in all, it's very fun, yet might be too easy for an older audience. I think this game would be perfect for younger crowds.

5-0 out of 5 stars Kids Love It
My 6 & 9 year old daughters love playing this. My 4 year old nephew caught on quick also. They can sign in under their own name. There are 6 CatDog games, they can choose the level of difficulty from 1 to 10.

Most of the playing involves the arrow keys on the keyboard, which is helping them out to be able to look at the monitor without looking at the keys they need to use. Sounds effects are excellent.

This game does take some skill and kids will quickly pick up more on that after playing this game.

You can also save a game in the beginning, midddle, or end. ... Read more

I bought this game for my 9 year daughter and she loves it! The snowboarding features excellent runs and lots of point winning chances! You use your points to buy new boards and clothing so you can do different tricks and look fashionable doing it.

We didn't think very much of the inline skating there wasn't really much to do. Although the shop was still fun.

This is a great game for all ages!

1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Work With Windows XP
I tried the suggestion from Weihong Yang from Sunnyvale, CA United States and it didn't work. So if anyone else can find a way to get this to work with XP please let us know. Sad that they sell products that don't work with current operating systems. Sad for our children who get them for gifts. I think the software company owes us a fix.

Hey howdy hey, all you deputies out there! Now you can have as much fun as Andy does with Buzz and Woody in this activity pack that's chock full of arcade games and printable art. Most of the games have a theme found within the movie; you'll even get to play "dodge the traffic" hidden inside road cones! There's also a hilarious trek through the luggage carousel with Buzz on a hunt to rescue Woody, and it's trickier than you might think.

All the games have adjustable levels of difficulty (so kids can play at more advanced levels, while you putter around as a beginner, 'cause let's face it, they're better at these things than parents are!). One of the elements that kids can print is a fantastic colorable comic book featuring all of Andy's toys. Even those goofy three-eyed aliens put in an appearance! Also ready-to-print are posters, stickers, and greeting cards; a birthday party could easily be decorated with the stuff within Activity Center.

Whether kids see themselves as a space ranger or identify as a cowpoke, there's plenty of fun for a rainy afternoon or two in this game pack. --Jill Lightner ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Won't install under Win XP
The disneyinteractive.com customer support section has an entry for the problem but no solution. Calling their 888 number you learn that you need to send your CD-ROM (with a receipt) in to Disney for a swap. Apparently the problem is so ingrained in the software that it can't be published on the internet as an update. What a drag!

5-0 out of 5 stars ALL of my kids love this game!
I have three kids who LOVE this game. (A 5,7 and 9 year old.) It is fun and entertaining for all of them! My 7 and 9 year old girls especially like the "Comic Book Creator" My 5 year old son likes all the games, especially "Traffic Cones" and "The Toy Shelf" I have caught him laughing and having lots of fun when he plays! Based on my childrens reaction I Highly recommend this one! If you are looking for a fun game and love Toy Story, BUY THIS!

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy It!
I'm with the majority on this one. This is a TERRIBLE program, well below the standards you would normally associate with the Disney brand. My 4 year-old, who is well-versed in children's computer software, lost interest almost immediately. The games are boring, lack depth and replay value, and are difficult to operate--most use the arrow keys to navigate instead of the mouse or track ball which we use. The printing projects lack choices, although they do produce nice output. All in all, a major disappointment.

On the other hand, the Lion King 2 Activity Center program which we bought at the same time is excellent. I think that the reason for the inconsistency is that while these programs are commissioned and marketed by Disney Interactive, they are actually produced by different independent developers who apparently have a great deal of latitute in determining what goes into the finished product. Disney needs to exert more control on product definition and quality control if they want to avoid another black eye like this one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and challenging!
I can't believe anyone had anything negative to say about this game - it's GREAT!!!! It has four fun games, and each one has three levels of difficulty. The games all relate to the movie, which my son really likes. It's a bit too advanced for my 3-year-old at this point, but he can do the easiest level of the cone game (getting the cones across a street while avoiding oncoming cars), and I help him play the other games. I think when he's about five he'll be more able to play it. It's VERY educational in the sense that the games require good memory, logical thinking, and strategy, anticipating the next several moves you should make. I'm 35 years old and no dummy, but the luggage game (a series of 10 mazes) took me about 30 tries before I could win! The first few mazes were easy, but they got progressively harder, with booby traps and decoy cases. Each time you play, you have to remember which way was the right way to go in each maze, or you can get trapped. Honestly, it's a LOT of fun! The "critter corral" game is a bit like checkers. The first level is easy, level two is more challenging, and level 3 is VERY hard - again, I'm an adult, and it's taking me lots of practice to learn how to beat it! The Toy Shelf game is a fun arcade game. The only weak spots are the two art sections, but all in all, I think it's definitely worth the money for four fun, challenging games that are entertaining for kids OR adults. We got the game four days ago, and my son still asks for it immediately when he wakes up in the morning, and wants to play it three or four times a day.

1-0 out of 5 stars Loser
My 4 year-old (who is great at playing cd games) lost interest in 10 minutes. This is a badly designed game with minimal graphics and no story. There are a few games like "print" where you click on something and it prints...you don't even get to choose the character. The cone crossing game uses the arrow keys, not the mouse. And it crashes badly on the Mac. It is very un-Mac like. Too bad, we are such great fans of the movie. But save your money here. ... Read more

Congo drums beat out a feverish tattoo, someone just kidnapped Gary the snail, and your cursor is a spatula. Welcome to the world of SpongeBob SquarePants: Operation Krabby Patty, an underwater realm that manages to combine retro hawaiiana and watery weirdness into five games that vary slightly depending on whether you cause SpongeBob to get up on the right or the wrong side of his bed.

The five games are all basic "cruise around and get things or shoot things" activities, with that surreal SpongeBob touch. For example, you'll find yourself seeking hooks baited with chunks of cheese in "Who Cut the Cheese?" and assembling Krabby Patty sandwiches in "Invasion of the Patty Snatchers." Rounding up jellyfish is the aim of "Hide N' Go Jellyfishing," learning to navigate a little speedboat through a maze is the object of "Boating School 101," and "Save Me Money" involves firing a bubble cannon at ghost pirates to defend a pile of loot. One game must be mastered to move on to the next, and completion of each reveals a long cartoon sequence that advances one of the two plots.

In the "wrong side of the bed" scenario, the evil Plankton has captured SpongeBob's pet snail Gary, and our square-panted hero must accomplish random tasks (complete the games in a certain order) to rescue his mollusk friend. In the "right side of the bed" scenario, a robotic Mr. Krabs (invented by, yes, Plankton) has stolen the secret Krabby Patty recipe, and it's up to SpongeBob to foil the plot by playing the above-mentioned games, with different characters, in a different order. Basically, this is a device to pack in more animated sequences without developing a whole new set of games. Players eventually end up building a couple of short episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants that they can view from the main menu.

The games aren't challenging, but they have a certain wacky tropical charm, thanks entirely to the fact that they're set in the wet underworld this cartoon inhabits. Fans will find Patrick the starfish, Squidward, the Chum Bucket Restaurant--every invertebrate, tiki hut, and odd exclamation ("Oh, tartar sauce!!") that makes Bikini Bottom such an oddly memorable place. No age rating given; we recommend ages 8 and older. --Anne Erickson ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Spell BORING!
I played this at my friends house and she is 8 years old. She loves it and said it was the best game! So she begs me to play it. First of all there isn't really a challenge put to this game. Its really just a bunch of mini games that have no meaning to it. Although I didn't give it 1 star because There are 2 "mini" games that I adore! The boating school one and the who cut the cheese. But the rest are BORING! There really isn't a selection of "mini" games to choose from. It could just be that my friend was a hog and woulden't give her guest a turn. But from what I saw and the little I played it was boring. I do have Spongebob Battle for Bikini Bottom on my Playstation 2 and that is what I call a fun game! Get Battle for Bikini Bottom its way cooler!

3-0 out of 5 stars IT'S FUN FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!
I play this game alot. It's pretty fun for children to play , but when you play it for a long time it starts to get kind of boreing. You start with not many mini games because in order to get more you have to get really high scores on the other mini games. I enjoy play operation krabby patty , but not so much that I could give it five or four stars. So I gave it three.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great game for younger kids
If your kids (like mine) are getting to an age where they've outgrown all there Elmo and Teletubbies CD-Rom games, "Operation Krabby Patty" is a good step up.

There are 2 "sides" to this game (think A side, B side). Plankton is up to his old (and predictable) tricks again, trying to steal all the ingredients for a Krabby Patty. Your first mission is to use the "Robot Krabs" to retrieve patty items, avoiding jelly fish (they reduce your time allotment)and ants (-10 points). After you'v completed three levels, you move onto the next game. Each level must be completed before moving on to the next; help Spongebob pass his driving test to receive his boating license, catch jellyfish with Sandy and SB, ride the fishing lures to collect cheese with Patrick, and help Mr. Krabs by shooting would-be thieving pirates with bubbles in "Save Me Money!". Then, the "B" side offers the same games, it just switches aroung the characters playing it. With each level you complete, you can watch a little "movie"- that is, a 3 minute cartoon about Plankton's plot.

I've read other people's comments that this CD ruined their computer system, but ours was fine. The only complaint I have is that certain visuals that appeared for the first 5-6 games no longer show up now, which makes no sense. Also, if you have a joystick connected to your PC, remove it before playing OKP. When ours was plugged in, the spatula pointer kept floating to the top and was impossible to control. After we removed the joystick, it was fine. Fun game for younger kids, perhaps not challenging enough for teens.

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok game...not sure if it's worth it.
A friend let my siblings and I borrow this game. I was so excited because SpongeBob is one of my fave shows! I started playing it and it was kinda fun, but then it got pretty boring. The levels were kinda hard to beat, even though I did beat one so far, and it was kinda zzzzzzzz after a while. I wouldn't recommend it, although some kids 10 and under may enjoy it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sponge cleans things up.
As cartoons become more perverted, (adult oriented) it's refreshing to see sponge bob, safe for kids and quite funny. I loved cartoons as a kid, but cartoons seem to have become the domain of tacky adult entertainment of late. Rarely a gem in the rough like sponge bob on t.v., or Dewdboy.com on the internet can be found, but they are losing to the corporate sex industry.

Sinister aliens are homing in on Retroville, but Jimmy Neutron has bigger problems than a mere off-world invasion. The deadline for the science fair is approaching, and he hasn't yet completed his state-of-the-art teleportation device.

Based on the well-known Nickelodeon characters, Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius is a first-person role-playing game appropriate for children ages 7 and older. As Jimmy attempts to put together his teleport invention, he stumbles over other, completed projects. Each find allows players to build on Jimmy's abilities. The inventions, from the flying jetpack to the remote control for Jimmy's robot dog Goddard, come with a tutorial that outlines their applications. Finding and studying old inventions is only a means to an end, though. Players must help Jimmy complete a lengthy series of objectives that will eventually lead to the completion of the science fair project.

Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius is a definite winner. Its objectives are varied and easily satisfied, providing a story line that moves along briskly. Action sequences pop up at various points during play; in one, for example, Jimmy converts Goddard to a flying scooter and races a skateboard-riding classmate. Game objectives are posted in the corner of the screen to keep players on task, and the animations are big, bright, and appealing. There is no getting lost in Retroville.

That said, the game does have a few quirks. Navigating Jimmy when he is on foot is tiresome, and while the scooter moves more quickly and smoothly, it is far too easy to bump into objects that cause him to dismount. (Moving to a new area of the game map also resets Jimmy to walking mode.) Additionally, though most of the game instructions are verbal, there are some textual clues and cues, making the game less accessible to those new to reading.

Even so, Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius offers terrific entertainment: a pleasing story, good visuals, and a nice mix of challenges. With plenty of humor and adventure in the mix, this program is sure to please kids whether they are already Jimmy Neutron fans or are new to the boy genius and his world. 5-0 out of 5 stars eye,Love,Jimmy!!!
I got this game from my grandma and grandpa at a christmas party I started playing with it,it was the best game I have played on the whole planet!!! Don't waist your money on other games this is sure to be the greatest! Here are some Pros: over 8 different items you can find and use! Control Goddard now like you cant in the other Jimmy Neutron games! Complete different puzzles and race against Nick in the school and the dirt bike trail! After you get an item practice using it in the practice mode! Here is only one con (because there only is one)It can be a little tough to control Jimmy.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun!
My nephew and niece loved this game! It's a lot of fun to play and isn't too easy or too hard.

2-0 out of 5 stars Waste of money
My 5 year old finds this game extremely frustrating. It takes forever to load a saved game, the graphics are cheesy, and it's hard to maneuver Jimmy around. Surely they could have come up with something better than this.

3-0 out of 5 stars Great if you have a 3d Graphics Card
My Son had anticipated this arrival of this game for weeks. His anticipation faded to frustration as we tried to load the game.
I have an older Win 95 PC with lots of memory and Ram. THIS GAME REQUIRES A 3D GRAPHICS CARD. This is not mentioned anywhere except inside the instruction manual. The software mode which is reccomended is very slow and the motion is very jerky. If you want this game make sure you have a 3D graphisc card. We will wait to get the Play station 2 version of this game.

Kids who don't want to leave the Cretaceous period--as depicted in Disney's thundering Dinosaur film--will thrill at this whimsical Activity Center, created by the same company that made the movie. Graced with snippets of evocative music, animation, and voice talent from the film, this CD-ROM has great ambiance throughout, whether you're playing simple arcade games or spending long moments picking out a unique tail and roar for your hand-built dinosaur.

As you'd imagine, much of the film's personality is echoed here. You'll see the same moody prehistoric habitats, the same eye-popping dinosaur animations, the same stupid lemur jokes, and the same absence of scientific veracity. If you want a truly educational software program about dinosaurs, you'll have to look elsewhere (try the Magic School Bus or Dorling Kindersley CD-ROMs for true facts). With this program, you'll instead get loads of imagery, drama, and hypnotic games and activities rife with snarling Carnotaurs and Velociraptors.

There are five areas to explore in this CD-ROM: one cool puzzle-making activity that allows you to construct a dinosaur all the way down to its exact roar, one neat chesslike strategy game that pits carnivorous dinos against their vegetarian brethren, and three hypnotic games that don't offer much beyond compulsive multilevel arcade play. It's hard to figure out whom the ironic Dating Game-style "Lemur Love Match" is meant to appeal to, yet in all other cases, the games (no matter how basic) are so well stocked with massive, rumbling reptiles that any layman dinosaur fan is going to find them perfectly satisfying. 1-0 out of 5 stars typical Disney: looks good, no substance
This disk has very little to recommend it. It's little more than a collection of dinosaur-themed games -- and pretty uninteresting (and annoying) games at that. Nor is there any educational content to speak of. My six-year-old son lost interest in it after about 10 minutes.

5-0 out of 5 stars My 5 year old son loves this game!
This game has been well worth the [money] I paid when the game first came out! My 5-year-old son is a dinosaur fanatic and has logged hours and hours on this game over the past year! His favorite game is Colosol Fossil Face Off, a chess type game where the heros of the movie "Face Off" against the villainous meat eaters! Great game for developing strategies!

The software is easy to maneuver through and the Arcade-style games are both entertaining and challenging with some games offering up to 100 different levels!

I will agree that this game is a waste of money if you have an older system! We had several problems when we first bought the game, but have since updated our system and now have NO PROBLEMS at all!

5-0 out of 5 stars Hours of Fun
My daughter is five and she loves this game. She first borrowed
it from the neighbor boy who is seven. I am embarrassed to say,
she played for four hours straight. She did not want to stop
even to eat. She has several other games she likes, such as
Adiboo, Barbie, Freddie the Fish, but this one realy holds her attention. Now I limit her computer time.

2-0 out of 5 stars NOT ALL IT'S CRACKED UP TO BE
I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS GAME. THE GRAPHICS ARE NOT PART OF THE GAMES THEMSELVES,THEY ARE ONLY AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SEGMENT.
BE AWARE THOUGH, THIS GAME TAKE UP ALOT OF SPACE FOR ANYONE WITH AN OLDER SYSTEM. THE ONLY PART MY 5 YEAR OLD SON ENJOYS IS THE DINOSAUR BUILDING GAME.

With tons of spelling and vocabulary words and silly pictures to click on, Arthur's Teacher Trouble introduces kids to the Spanish language with the help of their favorite aardvark. This interactive storybook form introduces us to Mr. Ratburn, Arthur's new teacher, as he advances to the finals of a spelling bee, trying to win an elusive trophy.

The 24-pagestory can be read aloud with no computer skills needed beyondclicking on the arrow at the bottom of the page and at the start of thestory. For children with slightly more advanced mouseskills, every scene has multiple points that can be clicked on for hilariousthings to happen--you never know what you might find lurking in the trashcan! 4-0 out of 5 stars Arthur's Teacher Trouble
Marc Brown creates the Arthur adventure, Arthur's Teacher Trouble with a moral in mind. Also it proves that if you work hard and give it your all, you'll be more successful. The book is told for children to understand that a little hard work gets you somewhere. With no effort at all, you won't come out with your best.

Arthur gets stuck with a hard teacher. The teacher starts out tough on the students, assigning homework right away. Arthur isn't very confident in himself and isn't used to the work and extra effort that he has to give to 3rd grade. With all of his hard work he actually gets awarded with something even better...and by reading this book you'll be sure to find out!

Arthur is my favorite character in this particular Arthur book. He isn't very confident in himself, but we all relate to that. And in the end we sometimes get surprised by unexpected turns.

4-0 out of 5 stars Neat!
This game is great for young computer-users! Each page has at least 15 "interactions" -- i.e. clicking on the salt shakers in the kitchen makes them dance. The story can read itself to you are you can read it silently. Even clicking on one word makes the computer say it. Great for children just learning to read. However, using it TOO many times can get tiring...after all, it is just a computerized book. Great value for the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars I learned from Arthur's Teacher Trouble.
I learned to do my best, but that if my best isn't better than everyone else's best, it is okay. ... Read more
